what happen? the syntax of cvs that i use are correct...?

Try make distclean ./configure make depend make
and look if the error persists.
After heavy reorganization like in the last days, some things may not fit any more.

What are the changes if I run 'cvs -RdP' instead of 'cvs -AdP' ? I had a look at CVS manual but I'm not sure what is meant of.
