Hi, Do you guys that package Wine mind adding Wine Internet Explorer to your Wine program group? I think it would be nice to encourage more users install gecko and test builtin IE rendering and having the shortcut would save them a bit of trouble.

I don't like this idea. Wine builtin iexplore.exe is far from being usable for users and improving it is low priority. We have enough problems with apps using IE to render HTML that we should take care of.

Agreed. It will just lead to a flood of bug reports that think it's the 'real' IE, then when that doesn't work, people will complain.
Maybe in the future when IE rendered apps all work, and we're testing for obscure bugs in our IE implementation, but not now.
