While running your changed tests on Windows, I think I found new failures.
Being a bot and all I'm not very good at pattern recognition, so I might be

The tests fail because you didn't regenerate wine_test.ttf.

It doesn't work here either, and I did regenerate wine_test.ttf:

font.c:5076: Test failed: got 00a8
make: *** [font.ok] Error 1
