How was this file created?
It was created with fontforge. Here it is in a .sfd format just in case.

Is there anything else that prevents accepting this test case?

Can I get a feedback on this please?

It's pretty disappointing to see no any reaction except the (answered) question above in a month.

Do you know AJ has been on vacation for two weeks ? That you're not the only developer ? That AJ has tons of patch to read and comment ?
You should at least resend it or ask that @ #winehackers
And don't be disappointed, life's disappointing but whining won't change anything.

That doesn't explain why the test case (!) sent one month ago has not been accepted and has stalled in the pending state while many other patches have been committed before and after the two weeks vacation time. I'd guess that's because my mailing address no more ends with @codeweavers.com but that's a pure speculation on my part. Nevertheless that doesn't look very nice.

If you would read the subject you'd notice that it's already a resend. Besides how asking on wine-devel (several times already) does make a boost in comparison to asking on irc?

Thank you very much for the useless comment on a public ml.

Is there any anger in these words ?

I never said it make a boost. I just know people don't have to reply now so asking multiple times may help.

Your comment is as useless as mine. But my comment still apply, whining don't help.

The font would have to be generated from the .sfd. A better approach is probably to create it on the fly, possibly using an existing font as a template.

Is that because it's in a binary form? .sfd is just another font storage format, it's not the "source" by any means, nor it makes editing the file any easier.

I'd prefer to have a dedicated file for the tests, that way it would be a lot easier to add and test various ttf tables, font metrics, glyph rendering or outline layout.

It makes the diffs readable.
