For those of you who don't belive A.J. is a human, he does introduce regressions from time to time. This patch http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-cvs/2004/06/0196.html Has broken this app http://www.anim8or.com and at least one user has complained about this regression.

But seriously, that patch changed a lot of very important core code in Wine, and the relevant math is hideously complicated (in fact nobody does it anymore, we all just copy/paste the X server code). There have already been several regressions caused by that fixed, the best way to get more fixed is to describe exactly what you see (with screenshots, if possible).
If the app isn't free, that's especially critical.

Or in some cases dont see. I am not 100% sure but I think this patch also causes OpenOffice to regress. It used to install and run fine but now it will run but never renders anything.
