In the OpenOffice.org QA project, volunteers who have proven themselves by adding helpful comments to a few bug reports can then request to be given the ability to change all fields of a bug report (see http://qa.openoffice.org/helping.html).
IMHO Wine might want to try that out, too.
I hereby request those privileges ;-) I'm doing some bug triage, and I'd like to be able to add e.g. keyword 'download' to http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2632 but I'm not suitably empowered.
Who can grant my request?

No, that would be me or Jeremy Newman (There may be someone else but I do not know who)
Anyways, I have added you to the list of people who can Confirm and Edit Bugs.
