wine-users is not a forum, it's a mailing list. Topics should not be locked except in extreme circumstances; the bounce messages are annoying, and it's wrong for the forum to not properly show what's going on in the mailing list.

+1 If a topic is also posted to the mailing list. If this is not possible or practical, put a message in the forum that the topic is being locked and why. This will also reflect into the mailing list and make those of us on the list aware that the topic is locked.
