That Patch stopped one line to early. The URL is dead

What is the general advise for links?
Many links to msdn.microsoft.com are dead.

They can be removed, MSDN links are useless, they move all the
time. Microsoft doesn't yet grasp that newfangled World Wide Web
thing.
