When i run acrobatreader 5.0.5 using wine like wine acro505enu.exe the following error is thrown ...
fixme:win32:PE_CreateModule Security directory ignored fixme:win:SetWindowTextA cannot set text "Unpacking Acrobat Reader..." of other process window 0 err:module:import_dll Module (file) winmm.dll (which is needed by C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\msvfw32.dll) not found err:module:load_library can't load msvfw32.dll wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
Could anyone tell me what could be problem and also please let me know how do i do debugging using winedbg.

It's trying to load Video For Windows. I don't know if wine emulates that or not, but you might be able to install it from an MS update somewhere, if you can find one.

no, msvfw32 is loaded, it's the dependency on winmm that cannot be loaded. something is broken in your configuration. A+
