http://wiki.winehq.org/BenchMark is getting old, and an update using version 0.9 would be ideal. Any chance at getting an update using the same computer as before?
A little before & after comparison would also be nice. -A page for Wine 0.9 vs Windows (like today) -Another for Wine 0.9 vs Wine 20050419 to see progress/regress

Sure, it may be a couple days, I plan to update that page soon.

This is the plan.

Just a small update, with wine 0.9.1 3DMark 2000 1.1 I'm getting a score of 13, 696 3DMark 2001SE I'm getting a score of 6011
There isn't allot of change since the last update. wondering if I should wait a little longer on Oliver's DX-8 enhancements and the DX-7 work...??

P.S.
Quake 3
Gentoo native the FPS is 400.7 demo 1 Wine 0.9.1 FPS 339.6 demo 1
I have updated nvidia-kernel, nvidia-glx, opengl and so on this morning and from the last scores both native and Wine test have improved. Now I need to re-test 3DMark :)
Just in case anyone is reading this thread...
With 3DMark 03 I get a score of 560 :-)

By native do you mean the linux client for Quake 3? If so then that's not a very accurate benchmark comparison. The linux client is written specifically for linux and the calls are directly into the system, whereas with wine the calls go through the wine layer and then to the system. The best comparison would be the fps from running quake 3 on windows and the fps from the same executable run in wine.

So true, when I first posted the benchmarks a couple people ask me what the difference between the native linux port, wine & xp were. So I thought I would add this info this time around as well.
