Wine startup problem

I'm using CVS Wine 20021125, but I cannot start any application: what I gete 
is always

-bash-2.05b$ wine War3.exe 
Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x4010ad10 
"../../loader/module.c: loader_section" wait timed out, retrying (60 sec)

It hangs and does nothing. What's the matter?

Try another time. Also switch from desktop mode to normal mode and back.

did you read the warcraft 3 howto? (it's on the application database).

ie: 
- did you install the no-cd patch
- did you remove/rename the "Movies" folder
- are you running with "-opengl" to use opengl rendering instead of D3D

The war3.exe was only an example (however using -opengl does the same). This 
happens with every (EVERY) application...
