Looks like you've botched the encoding somehow...

Don't use C++ style comments, use C (/* comment */) instead.

That's correct this way. If you have a look at other mails you will see
that it is similar:
e.g.

From: =?utf-8?q?J=C3=A9r=C3=B4me=20Gardou?=
