I've chosen this particular entry: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2658
A trial version can be downloaded here: http://www.download.com/Trillian/3000-2150-10047473.html
The installer runs the setup wizard, which will crash and misbehave. Ignore that, and continue onwards with running "wine trillian.exe".
In today's CVS, the application behaves as explained in the Bugzilla.
Great! I've added a link to your message in a comment to bug 2658.
Since you're doing triage, all you have to do is verify whether the bug still is happening with current CVS -- you don't have to fix it or track it down any further. You should move on to the next bug now.
And for future reference, please be sure to add a comment to the bugzilla entries you triage, saying whether you were able to reproduce the problem.
Thanks! - Dan

I was thinking of actually adding the contents of my posting, after letting it soak for some time. Was hoping for reactions from someone knowing something about Wine and how it paints windows.

Don't worry, I'm already working on the next one :-). Only thing is, I like analyzing stuff more than I like monkey work, so I'll probably keep working on the Trillian problem too.
Also, it seems like infinite loop bugs in the painting code is something that we'd probably like to fix before Wine 1.0 hits the street?
(Mr. Julliard, any opinions?)

Was going to, only in a week or so. Thanks for doing it :-).
