Howdy,
I'm about to get a new graphics card, because my current crappy Nvidia FX 5200 doesn't support widescreen, and I just got a shiny nice new 22". So, I'm going to upgrade my graphics card. I don't have a preference, since I don't game at all, just need something that will run 1920x1040 and $200<=. So any of you d3d/ddraw guys, is there some graphics card y'all need tests run on, and don't see around often, because now's your chance...

FYI, there's a useful wiki page for this, but it probably needs to be updated:
Heh, apparently a few tweaks in nvidia-settings fixed it. Wow. Wished I had quit being lazy a few weeks ago now...It wouldn't let me set it in KDE's system settings, so I didn't bother trying nvidia.
I think I've burnt my brain out, had quite a few strange occurences/dumb moments lately...I need a vacation.
Thanks Carl, and to the rest of the list, sorry for the noise/false hope to d3d/ddraw guys.

Just to answer your previous questions if someone else wonders the same: Some ATI card would be useful. I have an X1600 and a radeon mobility 9000 myself, but other cards would be good to test as well. In the codeweavers office we have a few other cards too(older radeons and a bunch of macs)

Testing on Macs, especially the newer laptops would be nice :)
I have a MacBookPro and a MacBook here (the latter is the other person who lives here's.)

My roommate has a MacBook pro, so if testing anything specific is needed, drop me a line.
