WineHQ will be going down for some maintenance tonight (2018-03-26) starting at 21:00 CDT (-5 GMT). It will be offline for about 20 minutes while we swap out some equipment.
The IP address for all WineHQ sites will also be changing. The DNS A records TTL are already down to 5 minutes, so DNS should switch over fairly quickly. We have already moved our primary and secondary DNS servers to the cloud, so they are no longer running directly on our box.
I will reply to this message when the upgrades are complete, or if any plans change.

We are running a little later than expected. The co-lo has new security and we had to get registered in their system. I expect we will start in the next 10 minutes or so.

No move tonight. The internet provider didn't actually hook up our new line yet.
So installation deferred for now.

Thanks, missed that one. I assumed it was a CNAME, it was actually a A record. Can't use CNAMES when you have a MX record pointed at it.

Email delivery is broken for some users including me. There are providers that plain out refuse email from IPs without a reverse DNS entry. The new winehq.org server IP has none:
$ host winehq.org winehq.org has address 4.15.184.77 $ host 140.15.184.77 Host 77.184.15.140.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
