Hi,
I have a nice idea to discuss at wineconf this year. Is it possible to use webkit for mshtml and jscript implementations of wine? Have been hearing a lotta good reviews about performance of webkit and lotta other browsers adopting it. How much work would it be to support webkit as to provide an alternative for winegecko? Firstly is it feasible.

More importantly, which of them has the closest thing to an "internet explorer compatibility mode"? Ideally, whatever renderer we use would be the most IE-like.
Thanks, Scott Ritchie

Gecko has many incompatibles with IE and do not pretend to be more compatible with IE specific extensions (like IE's DOM and so on). It is serious problem if we need IE-compatible engine in Wine. Has WebKit some IE compatible mode?
