Hallo,
resizing the window of ISE (Xilinx FPGA programming suite), the mouse remains captured inside the wine desktop and following backtrace can be requested:

Try disabling synchronous mode if it's on and see what the error dump is. I have a problem with some InstallShields on latest CVS due to an X_CopyArea failure. Maybe this is the same thing?
thanks -mike

Without synchronous mode, so backtrace is available, even when running with winedbg: Wine-dbg>c fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub err:ole:CoGetClassObject couldn't load InprocServer32 dll C:\windows\system\vbscript.dll fixme:ole:CoCreateInstance no classfactory created for CLSID {3f4daca4-160d-11d2-a8e9-00104b365c9f}, hres is 0x80040150 X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 70 (X_PolyFillRectangle) Resource id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 10634 Current serial number in output stream: 10876 Invalid address ((nil)) for breakpoint 0, disabling it Process of pid=0x00000013 has terminated Wine-dbg>bt You must be attached to a process to run this command. Something broke when Alexandre moved visible region calculation into the server.
It happens even in notepad in desktop mode, when you move the window
$ ./wine notepad X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 70 (X_PolyFillRectangle) Resource id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 2668 Current serial number in output stream: 3260 $
Even when not in desktop mode, there is a glitch - if you open the Search window and move it about. you get a little bit of grey stuck to the top.
Richard.
