Hey!
I have some good news. I am able to play with WineMine on Mac OS X :) See the screenshot here: http://stegefin.free.fr/WineMine.jpg
But comctl32 is not working and probably some others dlls, so I still have some work, but this is a good step.
Cheers,
Pierre
PS : I would like to know if the color of winemine are the colors which are supposed to be, thanks.

Yes, they're that ugly even on x86 :) It's a known "feature".

Nop the pb is gone. I removed some of my old inclusion and magically it works :) So I can say that winelib works on Mac OS X. There is probably remaining bugs, but the core is ok.

Pierre

Why don't you just install Linux/PPC, I think that would make this stuff a lot easier for you.
Better, why not help make Linux as nice as MacOS, then you wouldn't need to go to all this hassle in the first place.

Gee, flamebaiting already?
Linux/PPC sucks rocks when compared to the BSD-lineage kernels (Darwin, NetBSD, ...). Maybe you should try one of the others sometime. 8-)

I don't see how this has anything to do with the scope of the thread. This isn't "mklinux-devel".

*sigh* No, debugging tips. It's alright at the moment, because Pierre knows that Wine builds, and that WineMine runs. Wine doesn't ship if it doesn't build, and WineMine is so basic it hardly ever breaks. What happens when it gets more complex - how do you know if the bug is due to some odd interaction with the MacOS parts, or actually a bug in Wine itself (or even the app) ? The easiest way is to run in different environments and see what changes.

Just a philosophical difference.

I don't have more room on my hard drive...

This is a good question :) Maybe because I don''t know Linux enough. I should probably look for an introduction to linux, because I Linux remembers me the poor graphical interface and so on... In fact I am not agree with the UI choice of a lot of distribution. But's thats OT. I'll probably make room for linux one day ;).

In that case, why not just install Windows, it would prevent us all the hassle to develop Wine :-)
