This test is failing from time to time. Making sure the parent thread has terminated before continuing triggers the underlying race condition, and makes the test to always fail.

I'm not sure if the fix in next patch is fine for inclusion in 5.0, but this first patch should at least make the test to consistently fail.
Notes: * Directly check the window in grand child thread instead of waiting, it should have been destroyed already as we waited for thread completion. * Start the threads before flushing events and cleaning up sequences, it should be the same at the end but it gives more time for children to create their own windows. * Make all the handles live on the main stack, directly wait on the child thread handle from the grand child, instead of an additional event. * Increase some of the remaining timeouts, it still sometimes times out on Windows otherwise.
The failure was hard to reproduce. The most reliable way without the sleep added here is to start multiple runs on the testbot, changing locale for each run. The locale change seems to have an impact on the timing and triggers the race condition.

On thread destroy, a WM_WINE_DESTROYWINDOW is sent to the child windows living in other threads. However there's then a race condition between these threads peeking for messages and the current thread detaching its child windows from their threads and clearing their message queues.

Notes: v5: Instead of conditionally detaching child windows from the owning thread, which left some dangling references, this checks the child window's thread and state before destroying it. If the owning thread is still running, it will reap its own windows on exit. Otherwise it should be safe to destroy the windows on its behalf.

Hi,
While running your changed tests, I think I found new failures. Being a bot and all I'm not very good at pattern recognition, so I might be wrong, but could you please double-check?
