it's that time of the year again where we start thinking about the next WineConf.
Last year would already have been the turn for North America so the next WineConf will happen definitely there.
Jeremy White / CodeWeavers, as always, was very generous and offered to host it in Minneapolis (or was it St. Paul? ;).
But if you're in US / Canada and really hoped to host the next WineConf now is your time to speak up! The Twin Cities are beautiful at -30 C but we wouldn't mind seeing other places too.

Would it be possible to set a location and date for WineConf 2016 at this time? As no one outside of CodeWeavers has stepped up to host the conference I take it the conference will be held once again in St. Paul?

Just to be clear, we are quite cheerful to host WineConf 2016 in St. Paul. I suspect we'll want to hit the September/October time frame.

Your timing is impeccable, we have just arranged a venue and date.
The plan is for the conference to be on November 12th and 13th, at the Intercontinental hotel in downtown St. Paul. That gives us the best combination of venue availability coupled with decent pricing on rooms.
Jon Parshall, who has been working on this, is going to put some details up on the Wiki 'soon'.
