Where did this Notes bug turn up ? I never saw it on the news group, and it's not in your bug database. I'm curious because I would like to know how to reproduce it (I don't want not install Win98 and Outlook to test this :-/)

Didn't we code around one of those not too long ago? One in glibc-2.1, and a different one in glibc-2.2 that was provoked by our solution to the first?

I think it was in the newsgroup; I found it by doing a google search on dead threads.
Ulrich, I haven't been able to reproduce it in the few simple attempts
I've made, but I'll take a more focused try at it tomorrow.
