Google Summer of code 2012

Hello All,

I am a student of computer science and I am very much interested in
participating in GSOC 2012 through this organisation.I am interested
in porting applications to wine.I have good knowledge of  c/c++ but I
have never such kind of porting/open souce project in past.So please
guide me how to proceed further with my project with wine.

Porting applications to wine? What kind of applications? Wine is supposed
to run win32 code natively; "porting" apps to wine means porting them to
windows.
Or did you mean porting win32 apps to libwine?

Either way I don't think that's something covered in the GSOC program.
