Hi,
Just out of curiosity: is anyone already actively developing a (supposedly) fully featured richedit control ? The current version looks like a plain editor combined with RTF reader...

It's exactly that, but AFAIK, nobody is working on it ATM. Feel free to take on the task.

Not currently. Yes the current implementation is really just a wrapper around the edit control. Please jump in.
Thanks Steven

If you do, could you try and take BiDi into some sort of a thing vaguely resembling an account? If it's not too much work, that is.

BiDi is rarely a trivial amount of work. Even Microsoft are consistently unable to get this right, and usually when they try to improve it they just make it worse.
On the other hand it is important and the time spent doing it properly well worth it to the community, and a great learning experience for the person implementing it.

Yes. I was 90% joking. I explained in a private mail to Krzysztof that merely building it with BiDi in mind, so that adding bidi in later won't be a horrible horrible task, would still make me ecstatic.

Tell me about it :-)
