@gofman, that uint16 patch probably silences also an [ASan complaint](https://gitlab.winehq.org/bernhardu/wine/-/blob/asan-pe_2025-08-17_wine-10.1...), which I did not dare to [submit a patch](https://gitlab.winehq.org/bernhardu/wine/-/blob/asan-pe_2025-08-17_wine-10.1...) for yet, thanks.
