Yeah, I goofed on this. There was a deadline on the rate, and I didn't realize that and communicate it.
The hotel did 'fix' this for one other person, so if anyone else gets bit by it, reach out to me, and I'll see if I can help.
I just called the hotel, same story. Let me know if you manage to renegotiate the lower rate.
