Yes, I indeed think that could work. We do have quite a lot of activity on Usenet here (local utwente hierarchy), so an announcement there would probably reach quite a few interested people here too.

Time probably won't be an issue for me. We can probably arrange a room and camera/streaming. I think it is important to have a clear list of who is going to speak there. I understand from at least Scott Ritchie he wants to give a presentation. Who else is interested?

I was planning on showing up, but didn't have a presentation planned. I don't think most people new to wine would be interested in topics I'm more familiar with (appinstall,porting wine,winetricks).
