somewhere between release 0.9.46 and 0.9.47 of wine i started having problems with applications that use opengl. using git-bisect i found that commit 00633e37bcc8da1032f34ea2d87814739de07db4 (winex11: Use an offscreen redirected window for child OpenGL rendering.) was the first bad commit. in particular i am trying to run tracked part of racer 0.5.0 final (http://racer.nl/dl_win32.htm) doing a git-checkout 00633e37bcc8da1032f34ea2d87814739de07db4 and running tracked i get the following crash when i try to import a track: wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000014 at address 0x7e542141 (thread 0009), starting debugger... instead of starting with a black window and then drawing the imported track objects. going to the commit just before this one gets tracked working (although the opengl window is drawn in the wrong place) but the application works in general. i tried to undo various parts of the patch but i wasn't able figure out anything. maybe somebody has some ideas. let me know if you need more information. Problems with TAB_GetCurFocus

Hello, I'm having problems with the result of the message TCM_GETCURFOCUS. In Windows, it returns "0" while in wine I got -1 (0xFFFFFFFF). Hmm. Anyone in Illinois feel like going? Supposedly her tool finds bugs in source trees by looking for rules in comments and then checking the software against those rules. ATI fglrx 8.42 Driver issues

Hello wine crew, Not sure how many of you are ATI card users, but they released a new version of their binary driver a few days ago. It provides some great performance increases in native apps like Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, but I encountered a pretty serious problem when trying to wine World of Warcraft in OpenGL mode. In short, it won't draw models - it seems to draw environments and effect animations fine, but characters and objects like benches and mailboxes are invisible. It seems the majority of the focus is on testing at this point, but if there is any additional information I can provide which would help you graphics guys (available OpenGL extensions, etc.) please let me know. Lots of 'make test' failures on Windows

Looking at yesterday's test results is depressing: http://test.winehq.org/data/200710241000/ Just looking at the pretty colors may not make this very obvious, but the state of the tests is APPALLING. Successes | Failures | Failure rate | Not Run WinXP-1 | 260 | 53 | 17% | 0 WinXP-2 | 252 | 62 | 20% | 0 Win2003-1 | 264 | 49 | 16% | 0 Win2003-2 | 241 | 72 | 23% | 0 Win98 | 113 | 115 | 50% | 45 So depending on the test run and the platform we have a failure rate that is between 16% and over 50%, really 53% as the gdi32 tests should really run on Win98. This is important because if you try to fix Wine to make these tests pass you may actually end up breaking Wine. So until these tests are fixed and pass on Windows they are of no use to us. So yeah, we don't have an http://test.winehq.org/ home page, and http://test.winehq.org/data/ should be made nicer too, but even so I'm hoping a few motivated developers will find their way to the test results and start a push to make things better.
