Well, unfortunatly not. If you're brave to download a 700-MB iso of a
german children-game FOR TESTING PURPOSE (and delete it afterwards!) I
can give you a link. Else I'm trying to compile wine with
debug-informations and post further debugging here. Stay tuned... If you
have any idea of how to do this in a good way under kubuntu, I'm open to
suggestions.

Hm.. doesn't look really helpful. Please add +relay to the other dbg channels.
Is this game freely available somewhere?

[Bug 3181] NoteWorthy Composer doesn't run anymore

That's a deadlock then, after you get that error run winedbg in another
terminal, type "bt all" and let us know the output.

[Bug 3125] Deadlock when opening file in Powerpoint 2000 using File-Open-dialog
by Wine Bugs
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3125
------- Additional Comments From felix.nawothnig(a)t-online.de 2005-03-08 09:27 -------
Seems that more relay info is needed. In your +syslevel log you have:
trace:syslevel:_LeaveSysLevel (0x475c4f60, level 2): thread d count after 0
trace:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x6423c8c0, level 3): thread d count before 0
trace:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x6423c8c0, level 3): thread d count after 1
trace:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x475c4f60, level 2): thread d count before 0
err:syslevel:_EnterSysLevel (0x475c4f60, level 2): Holding 0x6423c8c0, level 3.
Expect deadlock!
Please get a +relay,+syslevel log starting after the first line (after level 2
was left) until the last line (when level 2 is entered again) and upload it
(either here on the tracker or somewhere else).
As this will probably generate a rather huge log feel free to compress and email
it to me or upload it somewhere...

RE: [Bug 3183] fixme:comm:SetupComm / fixme:comm:GetCommProperties
by Sander
Hi,
Just did some more testing, the application is not hanging only it does not
want to communicate on COM1 (/dev/ttyS0)
And still the same messages fixme:comm:SetupComm and sometime
fixme:comm:GetCommProperties
See also the included wine.log file
Sander.

Both bugs are probably harmless. I expect other functionality to miss. Run
with
Xhost +
to get a better impression. If the application hang after a
WaitCommEvent() call, try the patches I sent to wine patches on sunday

I'm seeing this too. I'm getting something like this too with Icewind Dale 2
with 20050725. This bug is causing a crash.
Doesn't happen in 20050111.
