I'm going to attempt what the ubuntu guy says at the bottom of that page since these distro's are close. It is a bit hard to debug that remotely though. Can you try to disable shaders on your nvidia card and / or your intel card? This is a clipping issue: the whole screen turns black except for one window each time a directx window is updated, even if there has never been any fullscreen windows. Would it be possible to create a wrapper so that Java-dependent windows applications can use the Linux native JRE and JDK correctly? It would prevent this bug from occurring in Java programs and also save people from having to download two full copies of Java.
