Are you sure you removed your old wine installation, as i can imagine that your wine rpm is installed in /usr whereas it might get installed in /usr/local if you compile the stuff yourself (just a guess). You could best try to run wine from the source tree you compiled your self (e.g. wine /usr/src/wine/wine app.exe) Anyway, removing the line makes the app start fine here, but is of course not a real fix.
