Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: wine-gui AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: giuliogiuseppecarlo(a)interfree.it I just installed 0.9.38 ( first from the official debian etch package, and after from source ) and i have missing characters, in menus and in other places i see only the first word. I link some examples, seems to happen with every app: 1) http://www.webalice.it/giulio.canevari/tmp/WineBug/wine-winefile.png The "Finestra" menu in winefile ( windows in english ) 2) http://www.webalice.it/giulio.canevari/tmp/WineBug/wine-internetexplorer.png The google start page with internet explorer ( look at the buttons, they should be "cerca con google" and "mi sento fortunato", not "cerca" and "mi" .
