I assigned this bug to wine-directx-d3d, not sure if that is correct. I used options +all,+tid,+seh. Found this on the wine-patches mailing list: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2007-February/036376.html Which says 'FIXME("Context creation for a new thread not implemented yet\n")' Maybe that is the problem. Although I didn't find that FIXME in the source code. It does crash after the ActivateContext line has a different value for thread. Thank god I can finally play CSS on linux sweet. I also played on a server with lots of people and my fps dropped really low but never crashed. Also it starts GIS program. All is fine, but... If I try to run installed GIS, it freezes on splash screen and wine error message printed in console: fixme:htmlhelp:HtmlHelpW HH case HH_INITIALIZE not handled. Would you be so kind to fix it. [Bug 8588] WineEngEnumFonts crashes when trying to load a DejaVu font

BTW, removing only these three font files also works: DejaVuLGCSerifCondensed-BoldOblique.ttf DejaVuLGCSerifCondensed-Oblique.ttf DejaVuLGCSerifCondensed-Bold.ttf I've just discovered numerous other cases where this specific font cause problems with fontconfig and Qt as well, e.g.: http://trolltech.com/developer/task-tracker/index_html?id=143304&method=ent… And yes I do need the overrides. With other configs, my program either doesn't start or the GUI components are not useable. Changing the resolution itself causes the game to crash, but on next startup the resolution change is in effect. However, when starting a new skirmish game, the game crashes after the loading screen (I believe just as it is about to first draw the game environment).
