by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9546 Summary: richedit assertion failure running Dragon Naturally Speaking 7 Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: wine-richedit AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com A user reports "in DragonPad, the command "Scratch That" freezes the program and then crashes it." The log contains string.c:350: ME_ToUnicode: Assertion `psz != ((void *)0)' failed. err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7bc8cd24 "loader.c: loader_section" wait timed out in thread 001d, blocked by 001f, retrying (60 sec) This was with wine-0.9.44-195-g282696b. [Bug 9542] Need for speed 4 (High Stakes) just shows black screen

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9542 --- Comment #2 from Adam Pigg <adam(a)piggz.co.uk> 2007-09-01 10:39:30 --- Ok, ive removed ~/.wine, and did a fresh installation. I think i follwewd the instructions on appdb for the d3d version by installing the game (using full), installing the linked 4.5 patch and applying the .reg. But now, i get a messagebox saying 'Need for speed files are corrupt please reinstall'. Any ideas? Cheers btw, i noticed the fonts are all screwed in windows messages, but it couldnt be that could it? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
