[Bug 9321] Halo: Locks up on startup

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

Check your video drivers. Retest with older > Wine version if you sure it's Wine. > > INVALID > I have, It worked without problems on wine 0.9.42, and in 0.9.43 it locks up. I know other people who have the same problem. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 7996] serious sam dedicated servers don't work

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7996 Kenton Groombridge <kenton.groombridge(a)us.army.mil> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |kenton.groombridge(a)us.army.m | |il --- Comment #4 from Kenton Groombridge <kenton.groombridge(a)us.army.mil> 2007-09-01 08:31:56 --- I have this same problem on "The First Encounter" and "The Second Encounter". The server doesn't have to be dedicated either. Just joining any local network game will fail when the percentage gets to 97% to 99%. Using wine is pretty much the only solution to play these games as the "fall through the floor" bug on the Linux version makes them unplayable on Linux IMHO. I am using wine 0.9.44. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Copy it to to system32 and rename it to winemp3.acm. > Then set a override for winemp3.acm in winecfg. > Voila! Everything works. :D That's it! I downloaded radium mp3 codec, installed it, searched for that acm file in system32 and set it as override file. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 9542] Need for speed 4 (High Stakes) just shows black screen

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9542 Gregor Münch <greg87(a)online.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |greg87(a)online.de --- Comment #1 from Gregor Münch <greg87(a)online.de> 2007-09-01 06:55:52 --- This is invalid, as wine doesn't support glidewrapper. As it works for me, it is very likely that your graphic card is to blame. If you want to use the glidewrapper, please change the thread policy and see if something changes. But I would really advice you to try d3d approach described in the howto of the games appdb site. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 9537] Running JSmooth triggers Unhandled page fault

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9537 Ronny Standtke <Ronny.Standtke(a)gmx.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|normal |critical --- Comment #6 from Ronny Standtke <Ronny.Standtke(a)gmx.net> 2007-09-01 06:27:36 --- > With native shell32 ... How do I configure wine to use "native shell32"? > Could you test , and maybe we should change this to shell32 then I would love to if I knew exactly how. > Oh, and it's not critical, just normal bug Wrong. Take a look at the Severity description: http://bugs.winehq.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity Quote: "Critical crashes, loss of data, severe memory leak" It is a crash with an unhandled page fault. Therefore the severity is "Critical". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
