[Bug 9537] Running JSmooth triggers Unhandled page fault

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9537 --- Comment #4 from Louis Lenders <xerox_xerox2000(a)yahoo.co.uk> 2007-09-01 05:40:40 --- Created an attachment (id=7915) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=7915) jsmooth Hi, i have the idea that part of this bug is invalid. I got the same crash, and then i installed http://sdlc-esd.sun.com/ESD33/JSCDL/jdk/6u2/jre-6u2-windows-i586-p.exe?Auth… I don't know much about java, but i guess that's the same java-environment, but a newer version? Anyway, with that installed the it got a bit further, and then seemed to crash on: err:shell:SHCoCreateInstance failed (0x80070005) to create CLSID: {208d2c60-3aea-1069-a2d7-08002b30309d} (Mijn netwerklocaties) IID: {000214e6-0000-0000-c000-000000000046} (IID_IShellFolder) (Mijn netwerklocaties=My Network Places) With native shell32 (and shlwapi,setupapi,rpcrt4 for dll-dependancy-hell, and setting winversion to win98) i got the gui to start up nicely, didn't test further. Could you test , and maybe we should change this to shell32 then -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 9423] wine 0.9.43 and 0.9.42 crash on startup

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9423 --- Comment #4 from adrian maier <adrian.maier(a)gmail.com> 2007-09-01 05:16:30 --- I have managed to build wine and it no longer crashes ( the first attempt was unsuccessful because by default wine required DRI , so I had to recomple it with ./configure --without-opengl ). Regarding Sven's suggestion : I'll try installing the rpm again, for determining whether any of the two rpms are working on my system. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 9541] Search returns empty page

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9541 Julian W. <Speedator(a)gmx.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |Speedator(a)gmx.de --- Comment #3 from Julian W. <Speedator(a)gmx.de> 2007-09-01 03:59:55 --- Yes, you need to enable javascript for both winehq.com and google.com. Another solution would be nice(sending only "searchtext" and "site:appdb.winehq.org" to google and getting back the result...) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 4729] photoshop 6,7,CS: Resizing child window hangs/crashes wine.

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4729 --- Comment #19 from Alexandre Julliard <julliard(a)winehq.com> 2007-09-01 03:37:14 --- The tool windows really should be managed, that's not going to change. And yes, that fixes the bug because the resize is now done by the window manager instead of being done internally in Wine. The problem with resizing inside Wine is that we need to grab the X server, and depending on what the app does during the resize this is quite likely to deadlock. Wine has no business resizing top level X windows, that's the job of the window manager. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 4729] photoshop 6,7,CS: Resizing child window hangs/crashes wine.

by wine-bugs＠winehq.org

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4729 --- Comment #18 from Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> 2007-09-01 02:59:11 --- In wine-0.9.44, those child windows appear to be managed, which seems wrong, but however inconvenient it is, it did seem to stop the hang. Once those windows are fixed again to no longer be managed (please?), the bug might uncloak. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
