SEH is (ab)used a lot for error handling and the logs might get filled with all the uninteresting stuff. Before you run a game to play with PB, make sure all PB related services/drivers are stopped (wineserver -k). The driver test passed "OK" with "pbsvc" tool has no relevance to real game. In case of "PnkBstrK.sys" kernel driver, the tool just checks for existance of symbolic device link that gets created during driver entry. No device i/o controls are used to really verify if driver is operational. 99% of the drivers code is not even touched/executed in test tool. What freetype version is installed in your system? The attached font doesn't cause a crash in builtin Wine notepad and FreeType 2.3.5 for me. Wine is not able to actually show any character using this font, only 'c' is displayed. But that's because freetype selects first unicode cmap table which happens to be with platform id 0 (Apple Unicode), and that cmap table is incomplete (or truncated). cmap tables for other platforms (1 and 3) are good, and making freetype ignore cmap with platform id 0 makes the font display properly in Wine's notepad. And as he says in the other part of his comment, the create account function doesn't seem to work... (it keeps loading in the wind). I installed the program using the installer few months ago, then it's self-upgrading by its own. I don't understand the "how are you running the program?"... Normally, I expect :) I don't use a virtual desktop and it's a Windows XP "emulation". I joined the log in attachment, but I think only the last line is interesting. After this line "fixme:toolhelp:CreateToolhelp32Snapshot Unimplemented: heap list snapshot", it's when I push the button "Exit". And the app seems to crash right before the very last line. @Austin English: Yup, it's the same one!
