When the download finishes and you click through to the installer it makes you read an EULA. The "Accept" button is greyed out and (in normal windows functionality) when you scroll to the end of the EULA the "Accept" button can be utilized. Running the Application from the download "/home/chadwick/Desktop/D2-1.12A-enUS/Installer.exe" The output is quite verbose and includes a lot of stuff from fixme:mshtml:HTMLElement2_get_scrollTop and fixme:mshtml:HTMLElement2_get_scrollHeight . Using -fomit-frame-pointer is the problem, I assure you because I had suffered it myself, using it breaks Wine protection schemes to the point that almost any protected app will not work even with a no-cd patch. And the resolution of that bug report was to build Wine without -fomit-frame-pointer flag, because there is no point to aim for an imperceptible performace boost at the price of making a lot of apps unusable. This bug was present in 1.1.1, but I did not notice it then because bug 14439 prevented the installer from even getting that far. It is still present in 1.1.2. The installer page faults at the end of the install process, before the "Install has completed successfully" message appears. I'm uploading console output for both a "Typical" install and a "Custom" install of Word only. The installer page faults at the same point in both cases, though the console messages immediately prior to it are different. Despite the page fault at the end, the install itself seems to complete successfully; Word, at least, opens up fine afterwards. (Though I didn't test it extensively.)
