After simply copying the built files over the old the installation and doing a quick in and clicking on some of the gui elements in the game and viewing the map everything looks absolutely great. The leaktest doesn't leak anymore and I can play World of Warcraft for a long time without any problems. I'm using wine 1.1.16 including the suggested workaround patch. USB Microphones in alsa have *only one* control, and it is the microphone control. They have zero output/master controls, which wine seems to require.
