I then tried running the Dancing Mouse example program. Pressing 'Run' used to work, but now crashes with Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000004 in 32-bit code (0x7e955213). Product: Wine Version: 1.1.29 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: msi AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: cattynebulart(a)gmail.com When I try to install the new beyond the sword patch (3.19) I get an error like; fixme:msi:MSI_OpenDatabaseW open failed r = 80030003 for L"\\C:\\windows\\temp\\{086B718C-78A8-4F85-857B-EAFD6658B6E2}\\{32E4F0D2-C135-475E-A841-1D59A0D22989}\\vcredist.msi" Which makes sense as the folder creates in c:\windows\temp is '{A6DDB50F-18CA-4500-9968-D7EB5069AD42}' so it wouldn't be able to open the non-existent temp folder '{086B718C-78A8-4F85-857B-EAFD6658B6E2}'. I am using Ubuntu 9.04, and using the debs provided by winehq.
