It also forces the DirectDrawRenderer to use GDI, thus no registry setting needed. It's just a collection of fixes published by other guys from the Worms Armageddon tread. So, thanks go to these guys. Symptom from start: - cd check executes - splash screen shows & hides - a window appears with nothing in it (nothing redraws its content), and games eats 20% of cpu. Strace showed it spent its time sending commands to wineserver, and "WINEDEBUG=+server" showed it was sending get_message & get_update_region alternatively. The console shows Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code (0x00411799). but because +relay works around the problem, it's hard to give a good log.
