Because the setup says the following: "To get Windows Media Player 11, you must verify that Microsoft(R) Windows(R) is genuine. After successful validation your system will have access to the latest features, updates, and support." In the bottom, right-hand corner, there is a button that says "Validate" *clicks the button* At the top of the inside of the window, it says this: "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting. Below it, it says: "This copy of Windows is not genuine." Bug 21886 is a duplicate. I followed the instructions here to edit the note, change the display mode, then edit again and delete one note. Following the instructions in that bug, I edited the comments to change the display mode, then edited one again and deleted it--and found that doing that deleted both comments, and left behind an empty note that can't be deleted (bug 20127). Zhenya, you should be able to add the information back in another note.
