[Bug 24415] New: Unhandled exception from RtlReAllocateHeap when starting PTR WoW.exe
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 2, 2011

Feb. 2, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24415 Summary: Unhandled exception from RtlReAllocateHeap when starting PTR WoW.exe Product: Wine Version: 20050930 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: ntdll AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: ajrich(a)earthlink.net Created an attachment (id=30777) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=30777) A backtrace, the last of many. Using today's GIT (for the default locale function), I frequently (but do not always) crash with an unhelpful message - err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0x7bc49b72 winedbg points to RtlReAllocateHeap as the culprit. I'm not used to operating it so I don't know if the many exceptions (most labeled page fault, which if that's the page fault I'm familiar with is an entirely normal thing) that can be passed through to reach the unhandled exception are significant. A backtrace of only the last exception caught by winedbg before the crash is attached. This crash does not occur 100% of the time - it does, however, occur more often than not. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Game is patched to 1.05 [0]. I used my Wine packages for Debian from [1]. [Bug 25930] New: Wine does not find 32bit fglrx modules and use software rendering instead
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 31, 2011

Jan. 31, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25930 Summary: Wine does not find 32bit fglrx modules and use software rendering instead Product: Wine Version: 1.3.12 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: linuxuser-sky(a)gmx.de Created an attachment (id=33053) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=33053) WINEDEBUG=+wgl log I'm running a Sidux 64 bit install and fglrx is working fine with native games. However wine does not detect the fglrx 32 bit libs correctly i think cause every game i tried (Generals/ZeroHour/Farcry) is falls back to software rendering (everything is slow and choppy). When i did the wine compile there was no error only a warning about OpenCLI or something. There was not the typical OpenGL not found not 3D warning. I tried to put wine in the right direction with: LIBGL_DRIVERS_PATH=/usr/lib32/dri but this did not solve the problem. In /usr/lib32/dri are the fglrx.so module so it is the right place. Attached the WINEDEBUG=+wgl log. If you need further info just ask. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
