[Bug 7929] C&C 3 network does not work
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 26, 2011

Jan. 26, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7929 --- Comment #113 from Emerson Prado <emerson.prado.eng(a)gmail.com> 2011-01-26 13:54:17 CST --- The patches by Erich, applied following instructions in http://www.compholio.com/wine-kane/, solve a problem in FileMaker. With Wine 1.3.12 (and at least from 1.3.8), FileMaker can't automatically find remote database servers - though we can manually add them in "Favorite hosts" and get the thing to work. Patching as said makes FileMaker find remote servers normally. > 54b4f836fd9df485d4b0c83a749da22f8c1de25a fixes Bug #19493. Without it, FileMaker can't see remote databases at all, even manually adding server. Let's hope some bitbrushing gets the patches in the way to Wine. Sorry I can't program that deep, but I can test. ;) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 3023] Orcad - "Place Part" never tries to put down a part
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 26, 2011

Jan. 26, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3023 --- Comment #27 from Erich Hoover <ehoover(a)mines.edu> 2011-01-26 10:27:47 CST --- Created an attachment (id=33000) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=33000) Test focus with end dialog (In reply to comment #25) > Eliot Blennerhassett sent in a patch, > http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2010-July/090363.html > but Alexandre replied with "needs tests". Anyone who can > write a test that fails without that patch but passes with it, > please do! You're not going to like to hear this, but I tried to make a test to show that the fix works and I instead ended up demonstrating that it introduces a bug. I've attached a patch that modifies the "msg" test to (pretty much) just run the test of interest. When you run this test with the "fix" it will report that the dialog itself is the active window after EndDialog is called, which is not the case when you run the test on Windows. If I had to guess then I'd say that WINPOS_ActivateOtherWindow is getting called at the wrong time, probably that OrCad captures some window notification event, changes the active window, and then we override it when we call WINPOS_ActivateOtherWindow. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
