The game hangs as stated in the comment above but I'm not sure why so I tried bt all in wine and hope someone finds it useful. In windows this loop give 2~3 iterations, but on wine it's infinite. I updated pulseaudio 1.0 from the daily build ppa and the crackling went away. pulseaudio 1.0 is shipping with 11.10 so this problem will go away. Loading an example .pdm produces as error message from the scripting system and a bunch of fixmes from vbscript but otherwise, it seems to work. It also runs into bug #23912 during startup, but this doesn't seem to be fatal. Native vbscript produces #8780, so the scripting system most likely doesn't work, but I don't know how to test it.
