Wine 1.3.28 works well now with steam and installed games :-) Thanks to the ubuntu developer team :-) Problem fixed! Basically, the DocHost ref count drops to zero and it is deleted, but the HTMLDocumentObj is still around and holds a reference to the DocHost over HTMLDocumentObj->frame.
