I disable the ALSA-Sound and enable the OSS-Sound in winecfg. This Hot-BugFix work for almost all wine-version - I had the same problem several years ago (wine version 0.9x) and I solved it with the same solution. We may have to separate between a lost surface(can happen in ddraw e.g. on a display mode change) and newly created surfaces that do not have a defined content and should be cleared before first use.
