If I quit all running wine apps I can restart gtk-window-decorator without error. Although, it will continue to crash at random times. I have noticed that dialog or confirmation boxes usually trigger the crash. The problem started once I upgraded Ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10 and Wine updated to the latest version. This error occurs on all three of my computers. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Jan. 6, 2014

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33964 Bug #: 33964 Summary: GTAVC hangs on loading saved game on intel video Product: Wine Version: 1.6-rc4 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: b7.10110111(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified I start GTAVC, then try to load a saved game. It shows progress bar going to its end, then displays the message "Loading game, please wait", produces a sound telling that game is loaded, and hangs with this message on screen. Alt+F4 doesn't close it (working in wine desktop). This only happens on intel video, namely i915 and N10 graphics controllers. [Bug 1244] Garmin GPS updater software fails to communicate with serial device

In particular bug 25083 and the symptoms described in bug 11811. There are patches in bug 11811 and bug 19713, but these don't seem to have been included in Wine yet. --- quote --- This bug is so old that's almost impossible to reconstruct the original problem. As you said: many problems with serial comms are already covered by newer bugs. I'll close this one as 'abandoned' here. [Bug 2082] DirectDraw games only showing black screen
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 4, 2014

Jan. 4, 2014

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2082 --- Comment #132 from Ken Thomases <ken(a)codeweavers.com> --- (In reply to comment #131) > We also have tests that show that switching to fullscreen does have an effect > on e.g. window dimensions, z-order and focus. I found tests for the foreground window in dlls/ddraw/tests/ddrawmodes.c, testcooperativelevels_normal() and testcooperativelevels_exclusive(). I didn't find other tests related to z-order. Please let me know if I missed them. As we've seen with this bug, a window may be the foreground window without being front-most, in particular if it owns other windows. Also if it's non-topmost and there are topmost windows. I'll try to extend the tests to test some possibilities with respect to actual z-order viz-a-viz owned, topmost, and other windows. With respect to a WGL extension, were you thinking of something like an alternative to wglMakeCurrent() such as wglMakeCurrentFullScreenWINE()? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
