This happens on all versions of nvidia driver AFTER 331.89. 331.89 it is last version when game works on maximum video settings. May be this is bug of nvidia driver (not wine) but I can't test this. I tested 2 videocards nvidia 760M and 650 ti. This can be reproduced on ArchLinux, Fedora, OpenSuse and Kubuntu.
