No. Like 'The Source' wrote, switching to XP is a possible workaround. It succeeds the second time the build is run, or as long as the wineserver process is alive, ie if killed, it will fail another time. This also doesn't prevent the launcher from working, I know where the play button is and I can click it :D It's just the rendering that's broken.
