This is a lack of the proper fonts. Without the proper fonts installed the battle.net application does not have the required font to display the text in the pulldown box so the pulldown box is not populated. That makes no sense, because hovering the menu reveals it. This has also always been an issue for me, and installing MS fonts did not help. Other elements of the UI are something absent too, like the input field for the 2FA codes. MPC-HC does not seem to work very well: it uses so much CPU time, if compared with other players. When I launch a playback, the console is filled at high speed with this message: fixme:quartz:MediaSeeking_IsFormatSupported Unhandled time format {7b785570-8c82-11cf-bc0c-00aa00ac74f6} I have no idea about this message, but perhaps the slowdown is caused by that huge amount of prints on the console, you can even ear some sound breaks when you switch between applications.
